Mystic Aquarium

We decided to brave a trip to the aquarium over the long weekend. So early Sunday morning, we packed everybody into the van and headed to Mystic. John was super excited to see the fish and he kept shouting, "Fish, Fish".

Just Me and the Boys

Once again, I have become lazy about posting pictures. Here are some from today. Our daycare lady took the day off so I was in charge of the boys all day. Thankfully, everyone survived. I may not have written about John's hat obsession. Two weekends ago, we went to the playground and I offered Little John his hat. At first he was not into it but as soon as Big John put his on, Little John was all about the hat. At this point, he is totally obsessed and has even worn a hat to bed. He is also in love with his new Spiderman flipflops.

2 months old!

Boy how the time flies. Caleb went to his two month check up today and everything appears to be well. He was 23 1/2 inches (I think 24) and 14lbs. That puts him in the 75th percentile for height and 90th percentile for weight. He has cradle crap which has caused him to get a rash all over his face so I am going to spend the next week or so combatting that. Caleb is still pretty gassy so we are going to try another formula and see how that goes. If this one does not help things, the doctor suggested going to soy formula. We will have to wait and see. I promise to post pictures this weekend.

Assistant Chef

Every day I attempt to cook dinner while tending to a 2 month old, a 20 month old and a dog. It can be quite the challenge. Generally, I let John play with whatever he wants so that I can attempt to cook with Caleb strapped to me in the baby carrier. Here are a few pictures from today.

(I do not have a picture to post with this). Just a quick update on Little John. He has learned how to climb out of his Pack 'N Play at daycare. Tina said he was so proud of himself that she felt bad scolding him. He also can climb over baby gates and can do a somersault. We may have to consider moving him to a toddler bed soobner than we thought. I have a feeling things are going to get interesting in the next few weeks.
