Ditch Digging

The last real "to do" that we have before winter is to build a shed (when I say "we" I really mean Big John). We broke ground on the "hole" for the shed on Sunday and the boys were more than willing to help. Little John insisted on using the spreader as a wheel barrow and Caleb took the opportunity to cruise on John's tricycle while he was preoccupied. All and all it was a good family project day.

Birthday!

I can't believe John is three years old! The time just flies by. We had his birthday party and per my usual, I did not take many pictures with our own camera. Below is the best shot of the cousins that I got. They aren't smiling but at least they are looking at the camera.
John continues to be above average for height and weight. He was 40 inches tall and 38 lbs at his check up. The pediatrician said he was a happy healthy 3 year old.

We've started potty training John so the boys spent most of the day Friday hanging out in underpants. Caleb insisted on wearing a pair over his pants.

Here are some random pictures. Life is still chaotic around here so we have not been good about taking pictures. As you can see, we cut off Caleb's little curls. It was a sad moment but his hair was getting out of control.
