Christmas Carnage

Here are a few pictures of the aftermath of Christmas morning. The boys have been having a blast playing with all their new toys. Little do they know that they will be forced to clean everything up and bring it upstairs :)

Christmas Cookies

I'm a little behind. Below are pictures of the boys frosting sugar cookies.

It's going to be a long winter

As most of you know, we were hit pretty hard by the Noreaster last weekend. We lost power Saturday night and did not get it back until Thursday afternoon. Some people in our area are still without power and could have another week or more until they get it back. We are very thankful to have our power back. Below are pictures from the morning after and from the clean up efforts yesterday. John ended up taking three trucks loads to the dump and we still have a huge pile out front and in back! Good thing he asked for a chainsaw last year for Christmas!

Pre-School

Caleb started pre-school today. He is in the three year old class at Here Wee Grow Preschool. He totally loved it and did not shed a tear when I left. When we picked him up, his teach said he had a good day. Can't believe we have two boys in school! Seems like only yesterday they were born!

Kindergarten

Holy crap. Little John is in Kindergarten. I have no idea where the last 5 years have gone. He is in afternoon kindergarten so below are pictures from the morning. John was totally thrilled to start school and barely turned around while getting on the bus. Unfortunately, he got sick last night so he had to miss school today. Bummer. However he is feeling better and should be back at school tomorrow.

We All Survived...

Well we survived another year of vacation in New Hampshire. I am sure all will be happy to hear that no small children were sold to the circus however it was touch and go there with Caleb.
Overall it was a good vacation. The weather was not great at the beginning of the week but cleared up by Tuesday so we were able to get in some outdoor activities.
I am playing housewife this week since our daycare provider is still on vacation. The boys are happy to be hanging around the house and are looking forward to John's party on Saturday.
Soon it will be time for school - Preschool for Caleb and Kindergarten for John! Very exciting!
