Finally found the USB cable and below are some pictures of the new house and from the last few weeks. Enjoy!

New House!

As most of you know, we closed on our new house last week and all our belongings are on the premises. We are slowly but surely getting things put away. John has been in Canada for the last three days so I was left in charge of unpacking (Scary, I know). I managed to unpack the kitchen and dining room and plan to tackle the play room tonight.

I promise to have pictures up as soon as I find the USB cable!

Almost there...

If all goes well, this time tomorrow, we will be in our new house. Being in two hotel rooms with 2 little kids and 1 dog for 17 days has definitely made us grateful for our roomy new house.

And of course, to add excitement to our departure from the hotel, Caleb managed to lock himself into the adjoining room tonight. We tried to get him to pull on the door handle but we think he was too short. To make it more interesting, the outer door to his room had the safety bar in place. Anyway, luckily, he has a super smart, non panicking, engineer Dad who managed to unscrew the hinge to the safety lock and get him out. It reaffirmed Big John's belief that you should always have a knife or leatherman handy at all times.

Tomorrow cannot come fast enough! We will keep everyone posted.
