Preschool!
Little John started preschool today. Our daycare provider and another daycare provider have enough kids that they are able to do their own preschool next year. Little John was very excited and had a ton of fun. I think he will be even more thrilled next year when he goes to an actual school for preschool.

18 month checkup
Hard to believe but Caleb is 18 months old. My how the time flies. He was 34.5 inches long and 30 lbs. 7ozs. He is almost exactly on the same growth path as Little John. The pediatrician did not have much to say and proclaimed him a happy, healthy 18 month old. We discussed his birthmark and we decided that when he is two, we will go to a pediatric dermatologist for a consultation.

Walls!

Construction Continues
Shed construction continues. As of the tonight, John had the floor done and all the roof joists cut. I believe tomorrow the plan is to start putting walls up.
As you can see, the boys had a great time spending the last two days outside. My favorite part was when they decided to sit in their lawn chairs and have a snack while watching John work. Typical construction job - two guys watching, one guy working. I managed to clear half of my future garden so hopefully I can get that done tomorrow.

*Sigh*
Some days there just aren't any words for the damage my kids manage to do to themselves. I picked John up from daycare on Thursday to find that he had slid down the patio steps....on his face. I think the average parent would be suspicious of this story but if you know my kid this does not sound odd in the least. Anyway, his nose is all scabbed over and I'm waiting for DCF to show up at our door.
